Summary: Sells corporate products to business and industrial establishments or individuals over the telephone by performing the following duties. This position goes by the title of Personal Assistant.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from aged leads, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources

  • Makes outbound cold calls and lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.

  • Handles other inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales; identifies market potential by qualifying accounts and works with Outside Sales Representatives to lock-in clients

  • Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services

  • Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers

  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules; investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries

  • Builds and maintains customer relationships; coordinates customer training.

  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database; works with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date


Required Skills:

  • Excellent Phone etiquette and customer service required. Good communication skills and sales ability.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, sales performance sheets, and business analytic documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; able to write professional emails

  • Proficient grasp of computers and technology from a user stand-point

 Outside Sales Representative

CPI is currently seeking a highly qualified and motivated Outside Sales professional to join our team.

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will maintain and grow your set of accounts, to achieve customer satisfaction, and sales goals. Candidates for this position will be maintaining our existing customers, and finding new customers in person within the designated area you are assigned.

This position requires a motivated, independent Sales Professional who will be responsible for selling packaging products to mid-size and or large businesses. You will be provided with the tools to make this happen; from computers, to iPads, and phones.

Laptop, cell phone and expense allowances are provided.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Business to business outside sales experience preferred
  • A professional appearance and effective in communications
  • Very organized with excellent time and territory management skills
  • Highly assertive and persistent with excellent closing skills
  • Commitment to excellence, integrity and results
  • Excellent new business development/ prospecting skills required
  • Experienced in business to business "cold calling"
  • Prefer a 4 year degree
